College Student
Now, Iman is studying in Universitas Indonesia majoring International Relations with full scholarship. He was accepted in university through PMDK program (a special way to enter university without having a test, given to top students around Indonesia for their academic and non academic achievements during high school period). In university, Iman is actively contributing to some clubs and programs, such as UI Model United Nations Club and International Relations Students Association.
Co-Founder and President of Indonesian Future Leaders
Indonesian Future Leaders was established with a vision to prepare bright, professional, and capable future leaders who care with their environment as well able to bring social change. It’s founded in order to meet the need of the youths and come as an antidote to the most anticipated issue nowadays and thus, bring a more immense effect on the people involved. Our aim is to nurture the bright minds of youths, whose age ranged from 30 and below, with avant-garde ideas and provide them with skills which are relevant with personal aims. Founder and Program Director of Parlemen Muda Indonesia
Parlemen Muda (Youth Parliament Indonesia) is the first-ever youth parliament assembly in Indonesia. It gathers around 66 elected youth representatives from all around the nation and facilitates an annual conference to exchange youth minds upon prominent issues. This is a form of youth empowerment and enhancement of youth participation in decision-making politics.
Youth Advisor of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Indonesia
As a youth advisor, Iman gives feedback and advices to UNFPA Indonesia on its work through the eyes of young people in achieving UNFPA mandates, especially on ARH and HIV AIDS strategic programs. ASEAN-Indonesia Youth Ambassador
As an elected winner of ASEAN-Indonesia Youth Ambassador, M. Iman Usman with Dhita Wirapradja and other finalists will take a role as the ASEAN Youth Ambassador to promote and introduce ASEAN to people, particularly youths through various activities in local, national, and international, as well be the representative on behalf Ministry of Foreign Affairs to some programs which related to ASEAN and youth.
